Effer has been manufacturing quality products, namely aerial platforms and cranes, for over 20 years.
Effer was founded in 1965 by Giancarlo Monti.
The name derived from the Latin verb “Effero”, which means “to raise”.
There are four factories in Italy, with a total area of more than 30,000 square meters.
Three of these factories are located on the outskirts of Bologna, while the fourth is near Taranto, in Southern Italy.
In Castelmaggior there is a head office as well as an assembly plant for cranes with a capacity from 36 to 200 TxM.
In the southern part of Italy, near Taranto, there is a factory where cranes from 12 to 35 TxM produced.
The Effer company consists of four divisions:
- Mobile cranes;
- Marine cranes;
- Special Products;
- Spare parts.
The crane manufactured on a turnkey basis, from the steel sheet to the crane installation and installation on the deck or vehicle.
Each year, Effer‘s factories produce more than 2,000 cranes ranging from 2 to 400 tons/meters.
Since October 2005 it owned by CTE (meaning that the company completely controlled by SOL.GE. S.p. A.).
