Manitex International, Inc. is an American manufacturer of lifting equipment founded in 1987.
Manitex began in 1987 with the production of cranes for drilling platforms.
In 1989, serial production of telescopic truck cranes was launched.
Today the company has a strong position in the production of telescopic boom truck cranes in the North American market.
The design office and main assembly production are located in the state of Texas in Georgetown, on an area of more than 27 hectares.
In 2003, Manitex International listed on the NASDAQ stock exchange (MNTX) and continued to expand its presence in the lifting and material handling industry.
Currently, the range of products consists of: telescopic truck cranes of various lifting capacities used; in housing and communal construction, oil and gas industry, energy sector, forestry and mining industries; specialized tower cranes for wide application; a wide range of forklifts and off-road forklifts.
In 2008, Manitex entered the market with a series of telescopic cranes with lifting capacities from 27 to 45 tons, mounted on a Kenworth vehicle chassis (Paccar, USA).
