In the mid-90s, with the development of JEKKO mini-cranes, the Italian group of companies Ormet S.p.A. focused on introducing advanced technologies, complying with new safety standards and adapting equipment to the requirements of the construction market.
Hydraulic attachments (hydraulic jib, hydraulic vacuum manipulator-gripper) allow you to perform various manipulations with cargo located at height. The nozzles connected to the mini-crane by a common hydraulic system and a unified automation system controlled using a multifunctional remote control.
The boom lifting height of JEKKO mini-cranes ranges from 7.2 to 23.5 meters.
The boom design has a chain drive, which significantly reduces its weight and ensures minimal loss of lifting capacity as the reach increases.
This solution also increases the working area when a lifting basket installed on the boom.
For example, the JEKKO SPX1040 mini-crane, with a lifting capacity of up to 4,000 kg and a boom reach of up to 23.5 meters, has no analogues in the world in terms of its capabilities.
At the same time, the stabilization zone of the mini-crane, with outriggers fully extended, is only 17.6 square meters. m!
An important feature of this class of cranes is their compactness.
They are able to easily work in places where no truck crane can reach: in dense urban areas, in cramped courtyards, on uneven sites, on the floors of buildings under construction, on roofs and inside buildings.
Incredibly compact dimensions allow JEKKO to “squeeze” even into single and double doors.
Despite their lightness and small size, mini-cranes are very stable, thanks to a well-thought-out outrigger system.
At the moment, the line of mini-cranes includes models with overall widths from 80 cm (JEKKO SPD265) to 1.4 m (JEKKO SPX1040).
At the same time, the carrying capacity of the most “miniature” model reaches 1,200 kg.
Each JEKKO mini-crane model can equipped with white “non-marking” tracks in cases where special cleanliness of work is required.
