Cranab was founded in 1963 by brothers Rune and Alan Johnson.
However, the crane industry began earlier in 1956 with the production of cranes for the logging industry.
The first faucets were very simple. Over time, they developed, the outriggers became foldable and the gripping part was significantly improved.
A year after its founding, Cranab begins exporting.
First it was Finland, then Yugoslavia and France. Currently, the company’s products are sold all over the world.
There are three factories equipped with the most modern equipment. All products are carefully checked and tested in various types of forestries.
This collaboration between forestry culture, modern technology and design is the best guarantee that products always meet the highest consumer requirements.
In 2008, Cranab AB acquired 51% of Vimek AB, and Cranab received ISO 9001:2000 quality certification.
