History of Kobelco Cranes

The corporation began its activities in 1905, the date of the creation of Kobe Seikosho.

Then in 1911 it was re-registered as Kobe Steel, the future steel mill.

Gradually, the crane division transformed into Kobelco Crane Co, and Kobelco equipment began released under the New Holland Kobelco brand.

With the advent of 2010, cooperation began with the American company Manitowoc Cranes. Crawler cranes appeared on the European and US markets under the Manitowoc brand, and Grove all-terrain vehicles began sold in Japan.
