History of Locatelli Cranes

The company was founded in 1954 by Enzo Locatelli and began its activity with the production of small lifting machines.

These were usually non-standard machines that met the specific needs of local businesses.

Having sufficient experience in the production of small machines, the Locatelli company produces its first off-road crane in 1964.

This is the famous GRIL 5 with a carrying capacity of 5 tons, which rightly considered a major milestone in the company’s development. As strange as it sounds, some of these machines are still in working order.

In 1967, Locatelli became a joint-stock company and since then its expansion has only continued.
