The world-famous German brand Wolffkran is one of the few companies that truly deserve the title of Pioneer of Tower Cranes.
Founded in 1854 with the help of Friedrich August Wolf, WOLFFKRAN specialized in iron foundries in Heilbronn.
In parallel with the main production, Julius Wolf (the youngest son) gradually developed ideas for production: the idea was to improve lifting machines.
In 1887, Richard, Julius‘s son, continued his father’s work, moving more and more towards hoisting and conveyor production.
The result of many years of fruitful work was the display in 1913 at a fair in Leipzig of the first quickly erected tower crane in the world.
The Wolffkran cranes created a sensation and became the beginning of the success story of the “Giants of Heilbronn”.
Today, WOLFFKRAN offers its customers a model range of more than 25 types of cranes. And the company’s production facilitie concentrated in the main construction locations of the world: Germany, Belgium, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates.
