For more than half a century, Tadano has maintained a leading position in the Japanese market with its world-famous cranes of various types and lifting capacities.

The history of Tadano is the history of the entire Japanese crane industry.

Tadano Ltd is founded. was in 1948 and it produced lifting equipment.

In 1955, the plant developed the first Japanese hydraulic truck crane OC-2 with a maximum lifting capacity of 2 tons.

In 1970, production began of Japan’s first crane, the TR-150, capable of operating in off-road conditions, with a maximum lifting capacity of 15 tons.

The company does not stand still; new cranes with greater lifting capacity developed.

Tadano begins exporting its products, gradually entering the world market.

And by 1973, a division of Tadano International (Europe) organized in the Netherlands to sell equipment and provide its services in Europe.

In 1978, the Tadano plant developed the TR-250 crane, which noted by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and awarded for the best industrial design in 1981.

In 1990, production of the TG-3600M crane with a lifting capacity of 360 tons began.

A division of the German company FAUN, which produces truck cranes, comes under the full control of Tadano.

Soon the company Tadano FAUN Holland B.V. was formed, which received the ISO9001 certificate.

The total production of cranes of various types over the years has reached 300,000 units.
