Comedil is a brand under which flat top luffing jib tower cranes produced with a lifting capacity from 2 to 40 tons, currently owned by.

In 1962 Comedil was founded by the Moric brothers in Ponte Nelle Alpi, Italy.

In 1986 Comedil moved to Fontanafredda (Pordenone Province), Italy.

In 1998 Comedil acquired by Terex Corp. and becomes part of Terex Cranes.

In 2001 Comedil acquired Ferro, a manufacturer of self-erecting cranes based in Cusano Milanino, Italy.

Important historical milestones.

1962 – First telescopic boom crane with rotating top and 17m “ISO75” jib.

1965 – Development of the first balanced jib tower crane of the “MCA” series with a 20-30 m jib.

1968 – The first self-erecting crane of the “G” series with a rotating top and a 12-meter telescopic boom.

1970 – The first self-erecting crane of the “Gb” series with a rotating bottom and a 13-meter telescopic boom.

1975 – The first tower crane with a balanced boom of the MCB series with a boom of 40-45 m.

1976 – Development of the MCA series balanced jib tower crane.

1978 – Development of self-erecting cranes of the “Gb” series with a rotating lower part with a jib from 16 to 25 m jib.

1988 – First luffing jib tower crane CTL 202 with a lifting capacity of 16 tons.

1996 – Development of a new full line of topless tower cranes, including City and Big series models.

2001 – The first tower crane with a luffing jib CTL 630 Big with a lifting capacity of 32 tons.

2005 – The first flat-top tower crane CTT 721 Big with a lifting capacity of 40 tons.

2006 – Development of a new series of medium tower cranes with a CTL luffing jib with a lifting capacity from 8 to 16 tons (CTL140 and CTL180).

2007 – The first medium-sized flat-top tower crane CTT 231 with a lifting capacity of 10 tons.

2007 – First luffing jib tower crane CTL 340 with mobile counterweight and lifting capacity of 24 t.
